Program Details

This course is designed for dogs under 2 years old who have been evaluated and approved to join Eisern K9 Service Dog program. This is the first step in Service Dog training and we recommend starting with a pup 6 months or younger. The classes will be once a week for 4 weeks, and the majority of the training will be done at home. This course is only a good option for those whose disabilities don't interfere with rigorous amounts of training.

In this course, we will focus on any basic skills your service dog in training needs, such as confidence building, basic obedience, and socialization.

Your dog will learn the following commands and skills in this course:

• Sit, Down, Stay

• Marker systems for rewards

• Place, Kennel, Waiting at thresholds

• No counter surfing, Waiting to be released to eat

• Loose-leash walking

This Board & Train program is designed for dogs under 2 years old who have been evaluated and approved to join Eisern K9 Service Dogs. This is the first step in Service Dog training and we recommend starting with a pup 6 months or younger. 

During this program, your service dog in training will stay with one of our head trainers for 21 days, and during that time they will focus on any foundational skills your service dog in training needs, such as confidence building, basic obedience, and socialization. 3 go home lessons are included with the board & train to help you and your service dog in training reintegrate together.

Your dog will learn the following commands and skills in this course:

• Sit, Down, Stay

• Marker systems for rewards

• Place, Kennel, Waiting at thresholds

• No counter surfing, Waiting to be released to eat

• Loose-leash walking

• & specific training related to future tasks

This course is designed for dogs who have been evaluated and approved to join Eisern K9 Service Dogs and have completed or tested out of Service Dog Foundations. The classes will be once a week for 6 weeks, and the majority of the training will be done at home. This course is only a good option for those whose disabilities don't interfere with rigorous amounts of training.

In this course, we will focus on appropriate service dog behaviors, such as advanced obedience, focusing near distractions, restaurant manners, and weekly public outings. 

Your dog will learn the following commands and skills in this course:

• Sit, Down, and Stand with distance stays

• Marker systems for rewards

• Place, Kennel, Waiting at thresholds

• No counter surfing, Waiting to be released to eat

• Loose-leash walking, Rear end awareness, and Speed changes while heeling 

• Settling in public

• Recall

• Dropped food refusal

• Tuck

• & more!

This Board & Train program is designed for dogs under 2 years old who have been evaluated and approved to join PQ Service K9.

During this program, your service dog in training will stay with one of our head trainers for 30 days. They will focus on appropriate public behaviors for service dogs, such as advanced obedience, focusing near distractions, and restaurant manners, and they will go on daily public training outings. You will have 3 go-home lessons to help you adjust to having your service dog in training in public with you. 

Your dog will learn the following commands and skills in this course:

• Sit, Down, and Stand with distance stays

• Marker systems for rewards

• Place, Kennel, Waiting at thresholds

• No counter surfing, Waiting to be released to eat

• Loose-leash walking, Rear end awareness, and Speed changes while heeling 

• Settling in public

• Recall

• Dropped food refusal

• Tuck

• & more!

This course is the final stage of training for your Service Dog in training. The classes will be once a week for 6 weeks, and the majority of the training will be done at home. This course is only a good option for those whose disabilities don't interfere with rigorous amounts of training.

In this course, we will polish up public access skills, and focus on task training. Before you get to this step in training you and our trainers will go over what tasks are appropriate and helpful for you and your service dog.

• Retrievals

• Scent detections

• opening doors

• button pressing

• forward moment

• minor guide tasks

• find an exit

• Deep pressure therapy

Price:$550

This Board & Train program is the last step in service dog training with Eisern K9 Service Dogs. During this program, your service dog in training will stay with our head trainer for 45 days. In this program, we will polish up public access skills, and focus on specific task training. Before you get to this step in training you and our trainers will go over what tasks are appropriate and helpful for you and your service dog. If you feel like a specific task that you need isn't on the following list then please contact us to discuss the possibility of training it.
