Board & Train Programs

Our 21-day Board & Train program is designed for dogs 16 weeks and older who need to learn on-leash obedience and home manners. At the completion of the 21-day Board & Train, there will also be 3 go-home lessons to help integrate your pup back into the home and teach you their new commands.  At the end of this program, you & your pup will be prepared to take your Canine Good Citizen.

You and your dog will learn the following commands and skills in this course:

• Sit, Down, Stay

• Marker systems for rewards

• Place, Kennel, Waiting at thresholds

• No counter surfing, Waiting to be released to eat

• Loose-leash walking

• & more!

Our 30-day Board & Train program is designed for dogs 16 weeks and older who need to learn on-leash obedience in pet-friendly locations, and for those who want a solid foundation for competitive dog sports such as AKC Obedience and AKC Rally. At the completion of the 30-day Board & Train, there will also be 3 go-home lessons to help integrate your pup back into the home and teach you their new commands.  At the end of this program, you & your pup will be prepared to take your Advanced Canine Good Citizen and Beginner Novice Obedience title.

You and your dog will learn the following commands and skills in this course:

• Sit, Down, and Stand with distance stays

• Marker systems for rewards

• Place, Kennel, Waiting at thresholds

• No counter surfing, Waiting to be released to eat

• Loose-leash walking, Rear end awareness, and Speed changes while heeling 

• Settling in public

• Recall

Our 45-day Board & Train program is designed for dogs 16 weeks and older who need to learn higher level obedience with increased distractions in pet-friendly public, and beginner competition readiness. At the completion of the 45-day Board & Train, there will also be 3 go-home lessons to help integrate your pup back into the home and teach you their new commands. At the end of this program, you & your pup will be prepared to take your Urban Canine Good Citizen. This class also prepares you for AKC Novice Obedience & AKC Rally trials.

You and your dog will learn the following commands and skills in this course:

• Sit, Down, and Stand with distance stays

• Marker systems for rewards

• Place, Kennel, Waiting at thresholds

• No counter surfing, Waiting to be released to eat

• Heel, heeling position, Rear end awareness, and Speed changes while heeling 

• Settling in public

• Long Distance Recall

• Stays around other dogs

• Stand for Examination

• *E-collar training can be added to this program if you are wanting off-leash reliability*
